Master Programs (LL.M.)

LL.M. (Intellectual Property)

  • The LL.M. program in Intellectual Property law was started in 2001. It is sponsored by the Center for Intellectual Property (CIP). It comprises advanced-level classes relate to issues in patent law, copyright law, trademark law, the law of unfair competition and antitrust. Annually, up to 25 students are admitted to this program.

LL.M. (Information & Technology Law)

  • The LL.M. Program in Information & Technology law was started in 2004. It is sponsored by the Center for Information & Technology Law. The curriculum focuses on telecommunications law, regulatory law, e-commerce, internet & technology law, IT contracts, data protection, copyright, trademark and antitrust, as well as criminal law relating to new technologies and e-government. Some lectures are held together with those of the LL.M. (Intellectual Property). Annually, up to 25 students are admitted to this program.

LL.M. (Health & Medical Law)

  • The LL.M. program in Health & Medical Law was started in 2007. It is sponsored by the Institut for Health & Medical Law. The curriculum combines classes in public, criminal and contract law relating to the health care field, laws surrounding new medical products, as well as courses on ethical and philosophical questions associated with medical treatment and therapies.
