Accomodation

To find a place to stay, you might want to check out www.hrs.de or www.venere.de. Please be aware that accomodation might be more expensive during tradeshows in Duesseldorf.

Due to recomendations of the last years, we have arranged a contingent at the "Jugendherberge Düsseldorf" (Hostel). Although lying in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel on the other side of the Rhine, the hostel has a short and direct connection to the campus leaving in front of the hostel and is not far of the city's hotspots. The contingent is available until 08/31/2011. Participants who book the hostel are kindly asked to refer to the registration number 82664 to facilitate the allocation to the contingent. For further information e.g. as prices and conditions see http://www.duesseldorf.jugendherberge.de

Getting to the University/Industrie Club
The university can be reached by car or public transportation. You should chosse the stop "Universität Ost/Botanischer Garten" in the case of taking the tram. A  recommendable bus stop is "Universität Mitte". From both stops the lecture halls are only a few minutes by foot. If you will arrive by car, you can use one of the plenty of parking possibilities around the campus. Here (pdf file) you find a campus map. If you use a satellite navigation device, type in "Universitätsstraße 1, 40225 Düsseldorf". We recommend the free underground parking garage under the Campus signed as P3, being closest to the Lecture Hall. Other near parking areas are P1 and P9.
The Conference Day at the Industrie Club (Elberfelder Straße 6, 40213 Düsseldorf) can be reached the best with a short walk from the highly frequented stops "Heinrich-Heine-Allee" or "Jan-Wellem-Platz".

Opening Dinner at Scotti's
A first get-together for all particpants who already arrive on Sunday, 25th will take place at the Restaurant Scottis (www.scottis.de/) close to Heinrich-Heine-University (Tram Stop 701/707: "Christophstraße"). Tables are booked for 7 P.M.
